Simulation
Greenhollow Days
★★★★☆ 4.3
Greenhollow Days is the comfort game on this list. You inherit a rundown cottage, plant a few crops, and gradually get pulled into repairing the town and befriending the folks who live there. There's no fail state, just a steady loop of small goals.
What sets it apart from other cozy sims is how much the townspeople feel like people. They have routines, opinions and little storylines that unfold over in-game weeks. Helping the grumpy blacksmith warm up over a season felt genuinely rewarding.
It runs well offline and never nags you to come back, which I appreciate. This is a game you drop into for twenty calm minutes, not one that demands a daily login.
